MUNICIPAL BUILDINGS: Programming, Facility Planning, and Post-occupancy Evaluation
Manchester, New Hampshire City Hall Annex; Project manager for detailed programming effort of the existing City Hall facilities, staffing and critical attributes for a New City Hall Annex. Programming interviews included the Mayor, Council of Aldermen, city officers and all department heads. Final product became the supporting documentation for an RFP, including a facility program, performance criteria, stacking and space planning diagrams.
Massachusetts Department of Capital Planning and Operations (DCPO); Boston, Massachusetts; Project Architect for the post-occupancy building evaluation of the Bristol County Courthouse in New Bedford, Massachusetts. The final report focused on the programming and design of a prototype courthouse building for the Commonwealth. The report's format combines data and recommendations to make knowledgeable decisions during remedial work and on design of subsequent buildings. Completion date: June, 1988.
Roslindale Community Center; Roslindale, Massachusetts; Project architect for renovations to the main lobby of a neighborhood community center including a community health center. Major intervention included a new two story partition wall creating additional activity space within the existing facility. Project completion date: May, 1993. Project cost $7,500.
