Gut renovation of a mid-century English Tudor Residence on the River Thames. After contemplating simple renovation and complete replacement, the final scheme included gut renovation of the existing structure, resulting in an utterly contemporary four ensuite bedroom residence, fully addressing the river from all rooms. Virtually invisible handrails, cantilevered decks, multiple sets of folding doors all heighten the connection of the open living spaces to the river views and English countryside beyond. First floor master suite, gracious ramp from parking area to teh main entry and first floor living spaces set this home up for gracious accessible retirement living.
